Who We are
The Kingdom School is the heart of the Father who called us not just to live life; but to live life "abundantly." (John 10:10) When we as people come to that pinnacle moment where we accept Jesus to dwell in us; many believe that to be the end all be all. We believe that it is only the beginning of what is a POWERFUL, and DEEP relationship with God. Our desire is to train, equip, empower, and release to each one; into that uniquely individual calling.
Our Origin Story
These are the bonds that can only be built when a group of people cry out to God and say in one voice "YES!"
For the first twenty years of our ministry lives, Amy and I operated from a non-miraculous viewpoint and practice. We loved God with all our hearts and were completely sold out to Him. We did anything and everything He asked us to do, however crazy it might have sounded to us at the time. But… we lived without God’s power available to work in us or through us us. We believed that God could do things, but we didn’t know how to bring it about. This was to be expected, because this is how we were trained in Bible College and Seminary. We were taught…
“God can do things, and sometimes He will. But its very rare, and there is no human agency other than to ask Him to do it.”
And then, one fateful day, God intervened in our lives and showed us HOW He can work in supernatural ways. We studied the Bible extensively for months, and prayed for Him to show us the truth. And show us He did! Eventually the power of God fell on us, and on our small church in rural Virginia… and NOTHING has been the same since!
Since the inception of the Spirit’s move, God led us to develop a training and equipping time, that eventually became a series of six courses through which people could understand, apprehend, and walk in the power of God. These trainings started with times of teaching followed by times of workshop, where the attendees actually “did the things” they were learning about. Eventually books happened. Then workbooks happened in support of books.
As it stands today, each course consists of 10 weeks of classes on a given topic. Each course builds on the previous course. Each course moves you closer and closer to becoming a fully manifested ambassador of the Kingdom of God. And that is our ultimate goal… For each of us to be as much like Jesus as we possibly can!
